History
Cesac is an agricultural cooperative that has more than 1100 members in the provinces of Bologna, Ferrara and Ravenna dedicated mainly to the cultivation of cereals. Precisely in this area a particularly valuable durum wheat has been cultivated for several years thanks to the microclimate and the specific quality of the land, consisting largely of clay.

The entire production chain of this product, from the cultivation of the raw material to packaging, takes place in the provinces of Bologna, Ferrara and Ravenna: thanks to the quality of the land, the particular microclimate and the great experience of the farmers in the area, here it is obtained a high quality durum wheat, whose semolina gives this pasta an excellent cooking resistance and high analytical levels; The bronze drawing and the short, completely traced supply chain enrich the value of this food. This version is the "Pennetta Rigata", excellent for the "all'arrabbiata" sauce, with the Bolognese Ragù and for many other traditional Italian first courses.
