Sapori del Borgo Antico is a small business located in Montebonello, in the Modenese Apennines, specializing in the creation of excellences based on hand-made and artisanal chocolate. Tiziana, one of the most famous chocolate masters in the area, gives life to truly unmissable works of art, bringing together her experience with high quality raw materials and at Km 0: just think that the hazelnuts used for these products come from a hazelnut grove owned by them located in Pavullo nel Frignano, a few kilometers from the laboratory! The family management of this reality allows direct control over raw materials and the authenticity of the finished product: perfectly in line with the philosophy of our project!

They come from the combination of two ancient grains, stone ground in Pavullo nel Frignano on the Modenese Apennines: the Gentil Rosso and the Senatore Cappelli. The flours obtained, with the addition of butter, whole eggs, sugar and cocoa powder create this delicious soft and delicate artisan shortbread.

We recommend enjoying these biscuits for breakfast soaked in milk or for a mid-afternoon snack; also perfect as a small but tasty gift idea.
