History:
This compote is created by the Martelli e Renzi farm, located in Fontanelice on the Imola hills; to create the product, apples, sugar and mint are boiled at a low temperature, without adding pectin; this process takes place inside the small company artisan laboratory. Niche product, genuine, Km 0 and Made in Romagna: a must in our selection!
Product description:
This unusual and original Compote combines the sweetness of the Romagna apple with the fresh and aromatic flavor of mint, adding a small amount of sugar, without pectin: 110 grams of fruit are used per 100 grams of product! The final product has an olive green color with a medium dense consistency, an intense and accentuated aroma and a very fresh, aromatic and persistent taste.
It will be delivered in an elegant jar with label and hermetic seal.
Tips & Pairings:
We recommend using it as a sweet filling of Piadina Romagnola Igp or soft artisan bread, or in combination with fresh cheeses such as Squacquerone di Romagna Dop and Ricotta or medium-aged cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano Dop 18-24 months. Thanks to its sweetness and aroma, it lends itself well as a filling for cakes, pies and homemade desserts.
